About
Pixel Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept trading screenshots and arguing about which games deserved space on our phones. At some point the arguments got long enough that writing them down made more sense than typing them out three times a day.,We're a small editorial team based in Europe. Everyone here plays on their own devices, on their own commute, in their own free time. Nobody reviews a game they haven't actually finished or at least sunk serious hours into.,Games get picked in a mix of ways. Sometimes a reader points us at something. Sometimes we spot a title climbing the charts and want to know if it earns the attention. We cover every genre because a good puzzle deserves the same fair read as a big strategy release.,We keep it plain. If controls are fiddly, we say so. If a game surprised us, we explain why. The goal is that you finish a review knowing whether it's for you, not whether we were paid to like it.
Elias Vandermeer — Elias has been writing about games for over a decade and still keeps a phone stuffed with half-finished RPGs. He handles most of the long-form reviews and edits everything before it goes live.
