Big Bass 3in1

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Big Bass 3in1 bundles three light fishing-themed modes into one app, and the whole thing is built around simple taps and swipes. You cast by holding and releasing, reel in with a rhythmic tap, and switch between the three activities from a clean central menu. It's the kind of game you open for five minutes and somehow keep open for twenty.

The first mode is a straightforward casting challenge where timing your release lines up your line with moving targets. The second leans into sorting and matching the catch, which is oddly satisfying once you get a rhythm going. The third is a faster reflex mini-game that livens things up when the calmer modes start feeling too gentle. None of them are deep, but together they cover different moods.

Controls are the strongest part. Everything responds instantly, the buttons are sized for thumbs, and there's no clutter fighting for your attention. Performance stayed smooth on older phones too. It won't challenge a strategy veteran, but as a low-pressure pick-up-and-play, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
