Neon Drift Riot
★★★★★ 4.5
Neon Drift Riot doesn't care about realism and that's exactly the point. It's all about chaining drifts through tight neon corners, building up boost, and threading between traffic at ridiculous speeds. The tilt and touch controls both work well, and I found myself switching between them depending on how bumpy the train was.
Tracks are short and made for replaying. You'll want to memorize the good drift lines, and shaving half a second off a lap is genuinely addictive. The car unlocks come at a decent pace without dragging.
The soundtrack deserves a mention because it actually matches the pace and makes long sessions fly by. Handling is arcade-loose, so purists should look elsewhere, but for pure fun it nails the mood.
What we liked
- Satisfying drift-and-boost loop
